About Karl

Karl is the President and CEO of Chevron College, a leading QQI accredited e-learning provider of further and higher education programmes.

Karl is also the host of Business Matters, one of Ireland’s most popular business podcasts, where he has interviewed over 2,000 entrepreneurs, including Sir. Richard Branson.

Like many award-winning entrepreneurs, Karl has taken risks to realise his vision and has demonstrated courage, perseverance and resilience to overcome significant obstacles along his journey.

In true entrepreneurial spirit, Karl travels overseas each year to attend international business and education conferences to identify opportunities to continually innovate.

Karl holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from University College Cork (UCC) and has participated in Enterprise Ireland’s gold standard Postgraduate Diploma in ‘International Selling Programme’, which is designed to assist high potential Irish companies strengthen their positions in international markets.

For six years, Karl served as a director of Chambers Ireland, Ireland’s largest business representative organisation and has had the honour of being its representative in the European Parliament on three separate occasions. As Ireland’s spokesperson on skills at these events, Karl had the opportunity to present to some of the most influential business and political figures in Europe.
