Karl is the Managing Director of Chevron College, CEO of Bricks 4 Kidz Ireland and a Past President of Wexford Chamber of Commerce. Karl also presents Business Matters, South East Radio’s flagship business programme. This media platform provides him with unrivalled access to leading business figures from across the country, in both the public and private sector.

Education has always been a key ingredient in Karl’s success. He has been an active member of the American Association for Talent Development and travels to the US annually to attend their international conferences. This enables Karl to identify global emerging trends within the training and education sector, which is reflected in his portfolio of education based businesses.

Furthermore, Karl holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from University College Cork, holds a Prince2 Project Management qualification and has participated in Enterprise Ireland’s gold standard Postgraduate Diploma in ‘International Selling Programme’, which is designed to assist high potential Irish companies strengthen their positions in international markets.

Karl is also a former director of Chambers Ireland, which is Ireland’s largest business organisation. Karl represented Chambers Ireland in the European Parliament on three separate occasions. As Ireland’s spokesperson on skills at this event, Karl had the opportunity to present to some of the most influential business and political figures in Europe. His core messages focused on the need to incorporate educational play methods in the teaching of STEM to primary school children across Europe which would assist in increasing engagement levels in these important subjects and that apprenticeships played a fundamental role in solving the youth unemployment epidemic across Europe.

Karl is also a Director of The Irish Franchise Association and a member of the Grants Evaluation and Approvals Committee (EVAC) with the Local Enterprise Office.
